Hadith 467

Abu Hayyah said: I saw Ali perform wudu, and he washed his hands until they were clean, then rinsed his mouth three times and sniffed water up his nose three times. He washed his face three times, his arms three times, wiped his head once, then washed his feet up to the ankles. Then he stood and drank the remainder of his ablution while standing. He then said: "I wanted to show you how the wudu of the Messenger of Allah was."
