Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever supports his people unjustly is like a camel thrown into a well, pulled by its tail 1.”

٤٧٠٩ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ (رضي الله عنه) ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: مَنْ نَصَرَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ فَهُوَ كَالْبَعِيرِ الَّذِي رُدّيَ فَهُوَ يُنْزَعُ بِذَنَبِهِ. 1 رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ.

صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جو آدمی ناحق کام پر اپنی قوم کی مدد
کرے وہ اس اونٹ کی طرح ہے جو گر جائے تو اسکو اسکی دم 1 پکڑ کر کھینچا جا رہا ہو۔ (ابوداؤد)۔
