Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Among the major sins is a man reviling his parents.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, does a man revile his parents?” He said: “Yes, he reviles a man’s father, so he reviles his father; he reviles his mother, so he reviles his mother.”
