Iyadh ibn Himar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The people of Paradise are three: a just, charitable, successful ruler; a merciful man soft-hearted towards every relative and Muslim; and a chaste, self-restraining person with dependents. The people of the Fire are five: the weak one without restraint 1—those who follow you seeking neither family nor wealth; the treacherous who does not conceal greed, even if small, but betrays; a man who does not wake or sleep without deceiving you about your family and wealth; and he mentioned miserliness or lying; and the foul-mouthed obscene one.”
