Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When one of you becomes angry while standing, let him sit down. If the anger subsides, well and good; otherwise, let him lie down.”

٤٩٠٤ - وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرِّ (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَلْيَجْلِسُ، فَإِنْ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الْغَضَبُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتَّرْمِذِيُّ.

سیدنا ابوذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی غصہ میں آ جائے اور وہ کھڑا ہوا ہو تو چاہئے کہ وہ بیٹھ جائے، پس اگر
اس سے غصہ ختم ہو جائے تو ٹھیک ہے ورنہ چاہئے کہ وہ لیٹ جائے۔ (احمد، ترمذی)۔
