Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: There were two brothers during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ); one would come to the Prophet (ﷺ) and the other would earn a living. The one who earned complained about his brother to the Prophet (ﷺ), and he said: "Perhaps you are provided for through him."

٥٠٨٢ - وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ : كَانَ أَخَوَانِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَالْآخَرُ يَحْتَرِفُ، فَشَكَا الْمُحْتَرِفُ أَخَاهُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: «لَعَلَّكَ تُرْزَقُ بِهِ». رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ، وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيْثُ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ رسول اللہ
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں دو بھائی تھے ان میں سے ایک نبی اکرم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر
ہوتا اور دوسرا کسب معاش کرتا تھا، تو کسب کرنے والے نے اپنے بھائی کی نبی اکرم ﷺ سے شکایت
کی تو آپ نے فرمایا: شاید تجھ کو اسی کی وجہ سے رزق دیا جا رہا ہو۔ (ترمذی)۔
اور امام ترمذی نے کہا یہ حدیث صحیح غریب ہے۔
