Note 1
(1) His statement: “none will extract the treasure of the Ka’bah” does not contradict Allah’s saying: a secure sanctuary (Al-Qasas: 57), as it means secure until near the Hour and the world’s ruin, or it means they secure others and do not harm anyone in it. Some scholars answered the Qarmatians’ leader, who caused corruption, killed people, and ruined lands, questioning: “Where is Allah’s saying: Whoever enters it is safe (Aal-E-Imran: 97)?” They replied: It means secure those who enter it and do not harm or kill them. (As stated in Al-Mirqat)
