From him (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Mahdi is from me, with a broad forehead and a prominent nose. He will fill the earth with justice and equity as it was filled with oppression and tyranny. He will rule for seven years.”

٥٢٤٦ - وَعَنْهُ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْمَهْدِيُّ مِنِّي أَجْلَى الْجَبْهَةِ أَقْنَى الْأَنْفِ، يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا، يَمْلِكُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ». رَوَاهُ أَبُوْ دَاوُدَ.

ان ہی سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: حضرت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
نے ارشاد فرمایا: مہدی مجھ سے ہیں، روشن پیشانی اور اونچی ناک والے ہیں، زمین کو انصاف و عدل
سے بھر دیں گے، جیسے وہ ظلم و زیادتی سے بھر گئی تھی، سات سال حکومت کریں گے۔ (ابوداؤد)۔
