Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the verse: On the Day when the earth will be replaced with another earth, and the heavens [Ibrahim: 48], saying: “Where will the people be on that day?” He said: “On the Sirat.”

٥٣١٧ - وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ (رضي الله عنها) قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ}(إبراهيم: (٤٨) فَأَيْنَ1 يَكُوْنُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ: «عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

سیدتنا عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: میں نے
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد: ”يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ
وَالسَّمٰوٰتُ“۔(14-سورۃ ابراہیم، آیت نمبر:48)(جس دن یہ زمین دوسری زمین سے بدل
دی جائے گی اور آسمان بھی بدل دیئے جائیں گے) کے متعلق دریافت کی کہ اس روز لوگ کہاں
ہوں گے1؟ آپ نے فرمایا: پل صراط پر۔(مسلم)۔
