Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The lowest station of any of you in Paradise is that he is told, ‘Make a wish,’ and he wishes 1 and wishes. He is asked, ‘Have you wished?’ He says, ‘Yes.’ It is said to him, ‘You shall have what you wished for and its like with it.’”

٥٤٣١ - وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّ أَدْنَى مَقْعَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ: تَمَنَّ فَيَتَمَنَّى1 وَيَتَمَنَّى، فَيَقُوْلُ لَهُ: هَلْ تَمَنَّيْتَ؟ فَيَقُولُ: نَعَمْ، فَيَقُوْلُ لَهُ: فَإِنَّ لَكَ مَا تَمَنَّيْتَ وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

سیدنا ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، حضرت رسول اللہ
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جنت میں تم میں سے کسی کا چھوٹا سا مقام یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ
اس سے فرمائے گا تمنا اور آرزو کر! تو وہ آرزو کرے گا 1 تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے فرمائے گا کیا تو نے تمنا
کرلی؟ وہ کہے گا: ہاں! تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے فرمائے گا، بیشک تیرے لئے وہ سب ہے جو تو نے
آرزو کی اور اس کے ساتھ اس کے مثل ہے۔ (مسلم)۔

(1) His statement: “he wishes and wishes”: The apparent meaning of the repetition is to indicate abundance. Al-Tayyibi said: His statement “is that he is told” is the predicate of “that,” meaning the lowest station of any of you in Paradise is that he attains all his wishes, leaving no wish unfulfilled. (As stated in Al-Mirqat)
