Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said regarding: “Like molten brass” (Al-Kahf: 29): “It is like the dregs of oil. When it is brought near his face, 1 the skin of his face falls into it.”

٥٤٥٠ - وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ (رضي الله عنه) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: ﴿كَالْمُهْلِ﴾ « أَيْ كَعَكَرِ الزَّيْتِ، فَإِذَا قَرَّبَهُ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ سَقَطَتْ فَرْوَةٌ 1 وَجْهِهِ فِيهِ». رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ.

سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ حضرت نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے
روایت کرتے ہیں آپ نے ارشاد الٰہی: ”كَالْمُهْلِ“ (44- سورۃ الدخان، آیت
نمبر:45)(پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کی مانند) کے متعلق فرمایا: یعنی تیل کے تلچھٹ کی طرح، تو جب وہ
اس کے چہرہ کے قریب کیا جائے گا تو چہرہ1 کی کھال اُسی سے گر جائے گی۔ (ترمذی)۔
