Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us and informed us about the beginning of creation until the people of Paradise enter their abodes and the people of Hell enter their abodes. 1 Whoever remembered it, remembered it, and whoever forgot it, forgot it.

٥٤٧٥ - عَنْ عُمَرَ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَقَامًا فَأَخْبَرَنَا 1 عَنْ بَدْءِ الْخَلْقِ حَتَّى دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مَنَازِلَهُمْ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ مَنَازِلَهُمْ ، حَفِظَ ذَلِكَ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ، وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.

نے اس کو یاد رکھا وہ یاد رکھا اور جس نے اس کو بھولا وہ بھول گیا۔ (بخاری)۔

(1) His statement: “informed us about the beginning of creation until the people of Paradise enter their abodes, etc.”: Al-Asqalani said: This indicates that he informed them in a single gathering about all the states of creation, from the beginning, the return, and their livelihood. Facilitating the narration of all this in one session is among the extraordinary matters, a remarkable affair. (As stated in Al-Mirqat)
