Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) returned from a journey, and when he was near Madinah, a strong wind blew, nearly burying the rider. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “This wind was sent for the death of a hypocrite.” When he arrived in Madinah, a prominent hypocrite had died. 1

٥٦٤٩ - وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ(رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَلَمَّا كَانَ قُرْبَ الْمَدِينَةِ هَاجَتْ رِيحٌ شَدِيدَةٌ تَكَادُ أَنْ تَدْفِنَ الرَّاكِبَ، فَقَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ: بُعِثَتْ هَذِهِ الرِّيحُ لِمَوْتِ مُنَافِقِ. فَقَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَإِذَا عَظِيمٌ مُنَافِقٌ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ قَدْ مَاتَ. مُتَّفَقٌ1 عَلَيْهِ.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے فرمایا: نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
ایک سفر سے تشریف لائے پس جب آپ مدینہ منورہ کے قریب آئے تو ایک ایسی ہوا چلی جو قریب تھا
کہ سوار کو دفن کر دے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا یہ ہوا ایک منافق کی موت کی وجہ سے بھیجی
گئی ہے، پس جب مدینہ منورہ پہنچے تو کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ ایک بڑا منافق مر گیا ہے۔(متفق علیہ)۔
