Qatadah narrated: “We do not know of any Arab tribe with more martyrs or greater honor on the Day of Resurrection than the Ansar.” Anas said: “Seventy of them were killed on the day of Uhud, seventy at Bi’r Ma’unah, and seventy at Yamamah during the time of Abu Bakr.”
