It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "When Satan hears the call to prayer, he runs away until he reaches Rawha." The narrator said: Rawha is thirty-six miles from Madinah.

٩٠٦ - وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ النَّدَاءَ بِالصَّلَاةِ، ذَهَبَ حَتَّى يَكُوْنَ مَكَانَ الرَّوْحَاءِ». قَالَ الرَّاوِي: وَالرَّوْحَاءُ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى سِتَّةٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ مِيْلًا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب شیطان نماز کی اذان سنتا ہے تو وہ بھاگتا ہوا روحا تک چلا جاتا ہے
راوی کہتے ہیں کہ روحا مدینہ منورہ سے چھتیس میل کے فاصلے پر ہے۔
(اس کی روایت مسلم نے کی ہے۔)
