It is narrated from Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Two supplications are not rejected, or are rarely rejected: supplication at the time of the call to prayer and supplication during the chaos of battle when the fighting intensifies." In another narration, it adds: "And during rainfall."

٩٢٩ - وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ: ثِنْتَانِ لَا تُرَدَّانِ أَوْ قَلَّمَا تُرَدَّانِ: الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ النَّدَاءِ، وَعِنْدَ الْبَأْسِ حِيْنَ يُلْحِمُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «وَتَحْتَ الْمَطَرِ». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرُ: وَتَحْتَ الْمَطَرِ».

سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ
علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ دو وقت ایسے ہیں جن میں دعائیں رد نہیں ہوتیں، یا یہ فرمایا کہ بہت کم رد کی
جاتی ہیں، ایک اذان کے وقت کی دعاء دوسرے جہاد کے وقت کی دعاء جب ایک دوسرے سے گتھ
جاتے ہیں، یا یہ فرمایا بارش میں بھیگنے وقت کی دعاء۔
(اس کی روایت ابوداؤد نے کی ہے۔)
اور دارمی نے بھی اس کی روایت کی ہے لیکن دارمی نے بارش میں بھیگنے وقت کی
دعا کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔
