It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A man's prayer in his house is equal to one prayer, his prayer in the mosque of his tribe is equal to twenty-five prayers, his prayer in the mosque where Friday prayer is held is equal to five hundred prayers, his prayer in the Masjid al-Aqsa is equal to fifty thousand prayers, his prayer in my mosque is equal to fifty thousand prayers, and his prayer in the Masjid al-Haram is equal to one hundred thousand prayers."

ف: اس حدیث میں مذکور ہے کہ مسجد نبویؐ کی ایک نماز ثواب میں پچاس ہزار نمازوں کے برابر ہے، اور اس سے پہلے کی حدیث میں مروی ہے کہ مسجد نبویؐ کی ایک نماز ثواب میں ایک ہزار نمازوں کے برابر ہے ان دو حدیثوں میں جو تفاوت پایا جاتا ہے اس کے بارے میں مرقات میں لکھا ہے کہ یہ تفاوت، تفاوت احوال کی بناء پر ہو سکتا ہے کیوں کہ نیکی تو ایک ہوتی ہے مگر حالات کے لحاظ سے کبھی اس کا ثواب دس گنا اور کبھی ستر گنا اور کبھی سات سو گنا ہوتا ہے تو تفاوت حالات کی وجہ سے مدینہ منورہ کی مسجد میں ایک نماز کا ثواب کسی کو ایک ہزار اور کسی کو پچاس ہزار مل سکتا ہے۔12
