Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the right side of the rows." [Narrated by Abu Dawud)

ف: واضح ہو کہ فقہاء رحمہم اللہ نے صف بندی کا قاعدہ یہ بتلایا ہے کہ اول ایک شخص امام کے پیچھے کھڑا ہو، پھر ایک اس کے دائیں طرف ایک بائیں طرف، پھر ایک دائیں طرف ایک بائیں طرف اسی طرح کرتے رہیں، تا کہ امام سب کے بیچ میں ہو، پس دائیں جانب میں کھڑا ہونا اس وقت افضل ہے جبکہ دائیں جانب اور بائیں جانب برابر ہو، یا دائیں طرف آدمی کم ہوں ورنہ بائیں طرف کھڑا ہونا افضل ہے۔ (مرقات۔ اعلاء السنن)
