Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man came from Yemen and asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about a drink they make in their land from corn called mizr. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Is it intoxicating? He said: Yes. He said: Every intoxicant is forbidden. Indeed, Allah has a covenant that whoever drinks an intoxicant will be made to drink from the mud of khabal. They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the mud of khabal? He said: The sweat of the people of Hell, or the juice of the people of Hell.
