Narrated Abu Sa'id: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Water comes from water (meaning, ghusl is required when there is a discharge of water)." [Narrated by Muslim]. The Imam of the Sunnah, Sheikh, said: "This is abrogated," and Ibn Abbas said: "Water comes from water in the case of wet dreams."
