It is narrated from Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Upon the disbeliever in his grave, ninety-nine dragons will be unleashed, biting and stinging him until the Hour is established. If one of those dragons were to blow upon the earth, it would never produce vegetation." [Narrated by Darimi)

١٢٧ - وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ: «لَيُسَلَّطُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِ فِي قَبْرِهِ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُوْنَ تِنِّيْنًا تَنْهَسُهُ وَتَلْدَغُهُ حَتَّى تَقُوْمَ السَّاعَةُ، لَوْ أَنَّ تِنِّيْنًا مِنْهَا نَفَخَ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا أَنْبَتَتْ خَضْرَاءَ. رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِيُّ.

اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کافر پر اس کی قبر میں ننانوے اژدھے مسلّط کر دیئے جاتے ہیں جو قیام
قیامت تک اس کو ڈستے اور کاٹتے رہیں گے، اگر ان میں کا ایک اژدھا زمین پر پھنکارے تو زمین
سبزی نہ اُگائے۔(دارمی نے اس کی روایت کی ہے)۔
