Fadala bin ‘Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting, a man entered and prayed. Then he said, ‘O Allah, forgive me and have mercy on me.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘You have hurried, O worshipper! When you pray and then sit, first praise Allah as He deserves, then send blessings upon me, and then supplicate.’"
He continued: "Then another man prayed after that. He praised Allah and sent blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: ‘O worshipper, ask and you will be given.’"

Allah, the Almighty, says: "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace." (Al-Ahzab: 56)

ف: اس حدیث سے معلوم ہوا کہ جیسے نماز میں حمد اور درود کے بعد دعاء قبول ہوتی ہے اسی طرح خارج نماز بھی دعاء کی جائے تو اس ترتیب کے ساتھ کی جانی چاہئے کہ پہلے حمد باری تعالیٰ کی جائے پھر درود پڑھا جائے اور اس کے بعد دعاء کی جائے تا کہ قبولیت کو پہنچے۔
