Ya’la ibn Mamlak reported: "He asked Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), about the Prophet’s recitation and prayer. She said: 'What is it to you and his prayer? He would pray, then sleep for as long as he had prayed, then pray for as long as he had slept, then sleep for as long as he had prayed until dawn.' Then she described his recitation, and it was a clear recitation, letter by letter."
