Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ascended the pulpit on Friday, he said: 'Sit down.' Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) heard this and sat at the door of the mosque. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw him and said: 'Come, O Abdullah ibn Mas'ud.'"
