۱۸۹۳ - وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَعْطَاهُ غَنَمًا يَقْسِمُهَا عَلَى صَحَابَتِهِ ضَحَايَا، فَبَقِيَ عَتُودُ1، فَذَكَرَهُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ، فَقَالَ: «ضَحٌ بِهِ أَنْتَ». وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ، أَصَابَنِي جَزَعُ، قَالَ: «ضَحٌ بِهِ». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

(1) The statement: "A young goat." In Al-Nihayah, it is explained as a young goat that has reached one year of age. This indicates the permissibility of sacrificing a young goat that is one year old, which is the view of our school. This is mentioned in Al-Mirqat.
