Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: "She asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what should I say when visiting graves?' He replied, 'Say: Peace be upon the inhabitants of the dwellings among the believers and the Muslims. May Allah have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us and those who will follow. Indeed, we will, Allah willing, join you.'"
