Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Beautify the Qur'an with your voices, for a beautiful voice enhances the beauty of the Qur'an."

٢٦٥٤ - وَعَنْهُ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «حَسِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ؛ فَإِنَّ الصَّوْتَ الْحَسَنَ يَزِيدُ الْقُرْآنَ حُسْنًا». رَوَاهُ الدَّارِميُّ.

حضرت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ارشاد فرماتے سنا ہے کہ: لوگو! اپنی خوش آوازی سے قرآن کے
حسن و جمال کو بڑھاؤ۔ اس لئے کہ خوش آوازی قرآن کے حسن کو بڑھاتی ہے۔
اس کی روایت دارمی نے کی ہے۔
