Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "All the children of Adam are sinners, and the best of sinners are those who repent."

٢٨١٤ - وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ : كُلُّ بَنِي آدَمَ خَطَّاءُ، وَخَيْرُ الْخَطَائِينَ التَّوَّابُوْنَ». رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهِ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ.

انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ
وآلہ وسلم ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ: تمام بنی آدم خطاکار ہیں (یعنی ہر انسان سے کچھ نہ کچھ گناہ ہوتا ہے)
اور گنہ گاروں میں سب سے بہترین وہ لوگ ہیں جو توبہ کرنے والے ہیں۔
اس کی روایت ترمذی، ابن ماجہ اور دارمی نے کی ہے۔
