Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me something to say when morning and evening come." He said: "Say: 'O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and earth, Lord of everything and its Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his partners.' Say this when morning comes, when evening comes, and when you go to bed."
