Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) returned from a journey and saw the walls of Madinah, he would hasten his mount, and if on an animal, he would make it move faster out of love for Madinah.

۳۱۹۳ وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى جُدْرَانِ الْمَدِينَةِ أَوْضَعَ رَاحِلَتَهُ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ حَرَّكَهَا مِنْ حُبَّهَا. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.

انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب کسی
سفر سے (مدینہ پاک) تشریف لاتے اور مدینہ پاک کے در و دیوار پر نگاہ مبارک پڑتی (اور ناقہ پر
آپ ﷺ سوار ہوتے) تو ناقہ کو دوڑاتے اور (گھوڑے یا خچر ہوتے تو) اس سواری کو تیز چلاتے
(اس لئے کہ آپ کو مدینہ منورہ سے محبت تھی اور آپ جلد یہیں پہنچنا چاہتے تھے)۔
اس کی روایت بخاری نے کی ہے۔
