Zayd ibn Aslam narrated that a man and his wife came to Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). A woman also came and said, “I breastfed both of them.” Umar refused to accept her statement and said to the man, “Keep your wife”.

٣٢٦٦ - وَعَنْهُ (رضي الله عنه)أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَامْرَأَتَهَ أَتَيَا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَابِ، وَجَاءَتْ امْرَأَةً فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي أَرْضَعْتُهُمَا، فَأَبَى عُمَرُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ بِقَوْلِهَا، قَالَ: دَوْنَكَ امْرَأَتِكَ. رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي السُّنَنِ».
