Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: My foster uncle came and sought permission to enter my presence, but I refused to grant him permission until I had asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came, I asked him, and he said, “He is your uncle, so allow him to enter.”
I said, “O Messenger of Allah, it was a woman who breastfed me, not a man.”
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) replied, “He is your uncle, so let him enter your presence.”
Aishah added that this occurred after the command of veiling had been revealed.

٣٢٦٧ - وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ (رضي الله عنها)قَالَتْ: جَاءَ عَنِّي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَيَّ فَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ آذَنَ لَهُ حَتَّى أَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ، فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّهُ عَمَكِ فَأْذَنِي لَهُ»، قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّمَا أَرْضَعَتْنِي الْمَرْأَةُ وَلَمْ يُرْضِعْنِي الرَّجُلُ؟ قَالَتْ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّهُ عَمُّكِ، فَلْيَلِجْ عَلَيْكِ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ أَنْ ضُرِبَ عَلَيْنَا الْحِجَابُ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
