Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed, Allah, the Exalted, sent me as a mercy to the worlds and a guidance to the worlds. My Lord, Mighty and Exalted, commanded me to destroy musical instruments, flutes, idols, crosses, and the affairs of Jahiliyya. My Lord, Mighty and Exalted, swore by His might that no servant of His will drink a gulp of wine except that I will make him drink its equivalent from pus, and no one will abandon it out of fear of Me except that I will make him drink from the pools of holiness.
