Utbah ibn Abd as-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Do not cut the forelocks, manes, or tails of horses, for their tails are their flyswatters, their manes are their warmth, and their forelocks have goodness tied to them."
