Nu‘man ibn Muqarrin (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I witnessed fighting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). If he did not fight at the beginning of the day, he would wait until the breezes blew and the prayer time arrived.

٣٨٧٣ - وَعَنْ النُّعْمَانِ ابْنِ مقرن رضى الله عنه ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْقِتَالَ مَعَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَّانَإِذَا لَمْ يُقَاتِلِ الْقِتَالَ فِي أَوَّلِ الَّهَارِ انْتَظَرَ حَتّى تَهُبَّ الْأَرْوَاحُ وَتَحْضُرَ الصَّلَاۃ، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.

نعمان بن مقرن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ
وسلم کے ساتھ جنگ میں شریک رہا پس جب آپ ﷺ دن کے اول حصہ میں جنگ نہیں کرتے تو
انتظار کرتے یہاں کہ ہوائیں چلتیں اور نماز کا وقت آ جاتا۔ (بخاری)
