Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: A man said to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of Uhud, “If I am killed, where will I be?” He said: “In Paradise.” So the man threw away the dates in his hand and fought until he was killed.

٣٨٧٨-وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قُتِلْتُ فَأَيْنَ أَنَا قَالَ: (فِي الْجَنَّةِ)، فَأَلْقَى تَمَرَاتٍ فِي يَدِهِ، ثُمَّ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ. مُتَّفَقَّ عَلَيْهِ.

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جنگ احد کے
دن ایک شخص نے عرض کیا آپ کیا فرماتے ہیں اگر میں قتل کر دیا جاؤں تو میں کہاں رہوں گا؟ حضور
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جنت میں تو انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ میں کے کھجوروں کو پھینک ڈالا پھر لڑتے
رہے یہاں تک وہ شہید ہو گئے۔ (متفق علیہ)
