Abu Usayd narrated: On the day of Badr, when the Prophet (ﷺ) arrayed us against Quraysh and they arrayed against us, he said: “When they approach you in large numbers, use your arrows.” In another narration: “When they approach you in large numbers, shoot them and spare your arrows.”

٣٨٩٠ - وَعَنْ أَبِيْ أُسَيْدِ أَنَّ الَّبِيَّ صلي الله عليه واله وسلم قَالَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ حِينَ صَفَفَنَا لِقُرَيْشٍ وَصَفُّوا لَنَا:(إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالنَّبلِ).
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: (إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ فَارْمُوهُمْ، وَاسْتَبْقُوا نبْلَكُمْ). رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.

ابو اسید رضی اللہ سے روایت ہے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم سے جنگ
بدر کے دن جب کہ ہم قریش کے مقابل صف آرا ہو گئے اور وہ بھی ہمارے مقابل صف بستہ ہو گئے
تھے فرمایا جب وہ تمہارے قریب آئیں تو تم پر لازم ہے کہ تیر اندازی کرو۔
اور ایک روایت میں ہے جب وہ تم سے قریب آ جائیں تو ان پر تیر برساؤ اور
اپنے تیروں کو باقی رکھو۔ (بخاری)
