Safwan ibn Sulaym narrated from several sons of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), from their fathers (may Allah be pleased with them all), from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who said: “Whoever wrongs a person under a covenant, diminishes his rights, burdens him beyond his capacity, or takes something from him without his consent, I will be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection.”
