Narrated by Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him): A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "What is faith?" He replied: "When your good deeds please you and your bad deeds sadden you, then you are a believer." The man said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is sin?" He said: "If something troubles your soul, leave it."
