Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The perfume for men is that whose scent is apparent and whose color is hidden, and the perfume for women 2 is that whose color is apparent and whose scent is hidden .

٤٣٢٩ - وَعَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صلي الله عليه واله وسلم : (طِيْبُ الرِّجَالِ مَا ظَهَرَ رِيحُهُوَخَفِيَ لَوْنُهُ، وَطِيبُ 2 النِّسَاءِ مَا ظَهَرَ لَوْنُهُ وَخَفِيَ رِيحُهُ). رَوَاهُالتَّرْمِذِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ.

علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: مردوں کے لئے عطر وہ ہے جس کی خوشبو ظاہر اور رنگ پوشیدہ ہو 2 اور
عورتوں کے لئے عطر وہ ہے جس کا رنگ ظاہر اور خوشبو پوشیدہ ہو۔ (ترمذی، نسائی)

(2) The statement: "the perfume for women": In Sharh al-Sunnah, Saad said: They understood this to apply when a woman goes out, but when she is with her husband, she may use whatever perfume she wishes. Thus, it is stated in Al-Mirqat.
