Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution three times for each action and said, 'This is my ablution, the ablution of the Prophets before me, and the ablution of Ibrahim (عليه السلام).'" [Narrated by Razeen]
But Al-Nawawi deemed it weak in his commentary on Sahih Muslim. Ibn Hajar mentioned that, according to the opinion of others, its chain is considered Hasan.

٤٤٦ - وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَقَالَ: «هَذَا وُضُونِي وَوُضُوْءُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ قَبْلِي وَوُضُوْءُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ. رَوَاهُ رَزِينٌ، وَالنَّوَوِيُّ ضَعَّفَهُ فِي شَرْحِ مُسْلِمٍ.
وَقَالَ ابْنُ حَجَرٍ: وَقَضِيَّةُ كَلَامِ غَيْرِهِ أَنَّ سَنَدَهُ حَسَنٌ.

عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے
تین تین مرتبہ اعضائے وضوء کو دھویا اور فرمایا: یہ میرا اور مجھ سے پہلے تمام انبیاء علیہم السلام اور ابراہیم علیہ
السلام کا وضوء ہے۔ (یعنی یہ سب حضرات تین تین مرتبہ اعضائے وضوء کو دھوتے تھے)۔
(اس کی روایت رزین نے کی ہے اور امام نووی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے مسلم کی شرح میں اس حدیث کو
ضعیف قرار دیا ہے لیکن ابن حجر رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے کہا ہے کہ دوسروں نے اس حدیث کی سند کو حسن لکھا ہے)۔
