Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When one of you sneezes, let him say, 1 ‘Praise be to Allah in every condition,’ and let the one responding to him say, ‘May Allah have mercy on you,’ and let him say, ‘May Allah guide you and rectify your condition.’”

٤٥٦٠ - وَعَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ : 1الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ، وَلْيَقُلْ الَّذِي يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ: يَرْحَمُكَ اللهُ، وَلْيَقُلْ هُوَ: يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ». رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِميُّ.

سیدنا ابوایوب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی چھینکے تو الحمدلله على كل حال کہے اور جو شخص اس کو جواب دیتا
ہے وہ يرحمك الله کہے اور وہ يهديكم2 الله ويصلح بالكم کہے۔ (ترمذی، دارمی)۔
