Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “A man educating 1 his child is better than giving a measure in charity.”

٤٧٧١ - وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : «لَأَنْ يُؤَدِّبَ الرَّجُلُ 1 وَلَدَهُ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِصَاعٍ». رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ.
