Abu Khirash As-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Whoever abandons his brother for a year is like shedding his blood.”

٤٨٢٩ - وَعَنْ أَبِي خِرَاشِ السُّلَمِي (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ: «مَنْ هَجَرَ أَخَاهُ سَنَةً فَهُوَ كَسَفْكِ دَمِهِ». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ.
