٥٠١٩ - وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو (رضي الله عنهما) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ فُقَرَاءَ 1 الْمُهَاجِرِيْنَ يَسْبِقُوْنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ بِأَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيْفًا». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

(1) His statement: "The poor among the Muhajirin will precede the rich" refers to the rich among the Muhajirin, and by extension, others. Thus, the poor of every community and time are measured against their rich counterparts. (As stated in Al-Mirqat)
