Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The people of the Fire will be lined up, and a man from the people of Paradise will pass by them. One of them will say, ‘O so-and-so, do you not recognize me? I am the one 1 who gave you a drink.’ Another will say, ‘I am the one who gave you water for ablution.’ So he will intercede for him, and he will be admitted to Paradise.”

٥٣٧٣ - وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَصُفُّ أَهْلُ النَّارِ فَيَمُرُّ بِهِمُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَقُوْلُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْهُمْ: يَا فُلَانُ أَمَا تَعْرِفُنِي؟ أَنَا 1 الَّذِي سَقَيْتُكَ شَرْبَةً، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: أَنَا الَّذِي وَهَبْتُ لَكَ وَضُوْءًا، فَيَشْفَعُ لَهُ فَيُدْخِلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ». رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَه.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : دوزخیوں کو صف بستہ کھڑا کیا جائے گا تو ان کے پاس سے جنتیوں میں
سے ایک شخص گزرے گا، تو دوزخیوں میں سے ایک آدمی کہے گا، اے فلاں! کیا تو مجھے نہیں
پہچانتا3 میں وہی ہوں جس نے ایک گھونٹ پانی پلایا تھا اور انہیں میں سے دوسرا کہے گا، میں تجھے
وضو کا پانی مہیا کیا تھا تو وہ اس کیلئے سفارش کرے گا اور اس کو جنت میں داخل کر دے گا۔(ابن ماجہ)۔
