Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said regarding: “And they will be frowning therein” 1 (Al-Mu’minun: 104): “The Fire scorches them, so their upper lip contracts to the middle of their head, and their lower lip sags to their navel.”

٥٤٦٧ - وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ (رضي الله عنه) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ ﴿وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَالِحُونَ﴾ (المؤمنون: ١٠٤( 1 قَالَ: «تَشْوِيهِ النَّارُ، فَتَقَلَّصُ شَفَتُهُ الْعُلْيَا حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ وَسَطَ رَأْسِهِ، وَتَسْتَرْخِي شَفَتُهُ السُّفْلَى حَتَّى تَضْرِبَ سُرَّتَهُ». رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ.

سیدنا ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے نبی اکرم
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَالِحُونَ“ 1(23-سورۃ المؤمنون، آیت
نمبر:104)(وہ اس میں سکڑے ہوئے منہ کے ہوں گے) آپ نے فرمایا: آگ اسکو بھون دیتی
ہوگی اور اس کے اوپر کا ہونٹ سکڑ جائیگا یہاں تک کہ اس کے سر کے درمیان تک پہنچ جائیگا اور نیچے کا
ہونٹ لٹک جائیگا یہاں تک کہ اس کی ناف پر گرتا ہوگا۔(ترمذی)۔
