Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Who will bring me news of the people?”—on the day of the Confederates. Zubayr said: “I will.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Every prophet has a disciple 1, and my disciple is Zubayr.”

٥٨٨٠ - وَعَنْ جَابِرِ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ؟» - يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ - قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: أَنَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيَّ حَوَارِيًّا، 1وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
