Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: I had a wife I loved, but Umar disliked her. He said to me, “Divorce her,” but I refused. Umar came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and mentioned it to him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: “Divorce her.”
