Chapter on What to Say When Rising at Night

Zujajat al-Masabih 1594Volume 1

English

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: "When the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood at night to pray, he would begin his prayer by saying: 'O Allah, Lord of Jibreel, Mikail, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants in what they differ. Guide me to the truth in what they differ by Your permission. Indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.'"
